Behringer 676
The Behringer 676 is an all-analog, vacuum tube microphone preamplifier and discrete FET-style compressor channel strip designed for tracking lead vocals, bass, acoustic instruments, and electric guitars in project and commercial studios. Inspired by the iconic Universal Audio 6176 architecture, the 676 combines a vintage 610-style tube preamp and 2-band EQ stage with an ultra-fast 1176-style FET limiting amplifier, loaded with premium 12AX7/ECC83S and 12AT7/6072 tubes, four custom-wound Midas transformers, and independent Join/Split routing.

Variable Input Impedance & Tone Shaping: Rotary source selector offers selectable input impedance settings for Mic (500 ohms / 2 kohms) and Hi-Z instrument inputs (47 kohms / 2.2 Mohms), allowing tonal matching for ribbon, dynamic, and condenser microphones or passive bass pickups.
