The Ortofon VNL Stylus Tri-Pack (Stylus VNL Trix / Intro Pack) is a specialized 3-in-1 replacement stylus bundle engineered for turntablists, scratch DJs, and vinyl performers. Developed during the initial release of the VNL cartridge line, this multi-pack includes three distinct styli—VNL I (Flexible), VNL II (Standard), and VNL III (Rigid). By providing three different suspension dampening compounds across an identical spherical diamond tip, it allows DJs to test, feel, and fine-tune their needle tracking based on tonearm mass, turntable torque, platter slipmat resistance, and personal scratch pressure.

VNL I (Flexible - 16 μm/mN): Delivers the highest compliance and flexibility. Best suited for lighter tonearms, gentle backcueing, and purist listening where maximum groove compliance and lowest record wear are prioritized.

VNL II (Standard - 15 μm/mN): The balanced all-rounder. Offers the optimum middle-ground between groove tracking grip, stylus stiffness, and low vinyl wear for everyday club mixing, juggling, and traditional DJing.

VNL III (Rigid - 14 μm/mN): The stiffest suspension compound. Engineered for aggressive turntablism, heavy finger scratching, high-torque motor starts, and battle setups where preventing needle skips on warped or unstable records is critical.
